Pickleball

Every Monday in July 2026 the court will be open from 7pm for Pickleball–  a mash-up of tennis, badminton and table tennis that is taking the world be storm. It’ll be set up in one half of the court, and you can just come along and give it a go.  Free for members, and we are offering a special introductory rate of just £3 for non-members per evening.  So why not bring a friend?  All the latest info about this and other activities can be found on our events page.

>> Monday evenings in June: Hockey (Unihoc)

Pickleball is an enjoyable easier alternative to tennis – smaller court, less running around, a great game in itself, and can serve as a useful entry point to the world of tennis. Find out more about how to play pickleball*.

We have two sets of nets/bats/balls, and these can easily be set up either side of the main tennis net, with the pickleball nets set up along the centre lines of the tennis court (i.e. at 90 degrees to tennis net). We have cones that can be used to mark where the lines should be.

Members can use our equipment any time the court is free – just get in touch and we’ll help you get set up!
